Greg Hudson - Pastor

Greg was born and raised in Guthrie and began attending First Southern Baptist Church even before he was born. His parents were members of First Southern, serving as  Sunday school teachers and his father served as a deacon.  His only brother also has been a life-long member at First Southern and currently also serves as a deacon.

Greg graduated from Guthrie High School in 1968 and Oklahoma State University in 1972. After working in three different careers in the workplace and semi-retiring, Greg has begun his fourth and final career in yielding to God’s call to ministry, recently becoming the Pastor at First Southern.

Greg and Cathy have a blended family of six kids, sixteen grandkids, and a great grandchild on the way. Cathy is a retired school teacher and now works harder at taking care of grandkids.

Greg is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary.

Diann Owen - Church Ministry Coordinator

Diann, along with her husband Gene,  have lived in the Guthrie area since 1977. They’ve been married over 40 years! During that time God has blessed them with two wonderful children and their spouses.  Additionally, they have eight grandchildren that they adore.  In their spare time they enjoy watching their grandchildren in the many different activities that they are involved in.

Jordan Tooley - Nursery Coordinator

Jordan was born in Michigan but moved to Oklahoma in 1995 where she decided to call Guthrie her home. Jordan has been serving at First Southern since 2017, where she felt the need and love to serve the lord. She loves seeing children grow, flourish, and develop a heart for the Lord. Jordan is dedicated to providing a safe, loving environment in which children can learn and grow in God’s love. She believes First Southern nursery is a great place to prepare little ones to know Christ.

Jordan and her husband Drew were married at First Southern church in 2015, between them both they have 6 wonderful boys.

Jordan enjoys relaxing, shopping, traveling and (most of all) spending time with family and friends.
